Pricing:
Affordable pricing with quantity discounts
Hiring a product photographer doesn’t need to cost a fortune. I shoot product photography all day, every day so I'm able to keep our rates reasonable. I don’t turn away small orders, which means you can actually hire me for as little as $20. If you have a larger order, that’s great! I'm able to shoot larger projects more efficiently and I can pass this savings onto you.
My pricing is mainly based on the size of your order and rates drop significantly for large orders.
What is Included:
High Resolution Files:
All of my images are delivered as high resolution 300 ppi(pixels per inch) jpg files, perfect for use in print or on the web.
All photos are captured at a minimum of 24 megapixels. Optionally, I am also able to deliver a higher resolution for demanding resolution needs such as large prints and product packaging.
Photo Editing:
Each photograph goes through careful retouching prior to final delivery. I examine and adjust color and brightness levels to ensure the proper tone and vibrant exposure. Noticeable dust, lint, or scratches are expertly removed.
Background:
All products are photographed on a white background with no shadow or reflection. Shadows can be added for an additional $1 per image. To add a reflection and shadow it is an additional $3 per image.
If you would like a solid color background, please let me know of your color choice, at no additional fee.
If you would like a transparent background, it is an additional $7 per image.
Cleaning and Prep:
Prior to photography all products are cleaned and prepped to provide you with the best possible photography of your product.
Image Usage:
Upon final delivery, the photography is licensed to your company for use on a royalty-free basis. This means you are free to use the photographs in any of your publications as many times as you like, with as wide a distribution as you like, without ever having to pay me another cent. I do retain the copyrights for delivered photos and the photographs may not be re-sold to any third party.
Quick Turnaround:
I like to provide my clients with a quick turnaround for their photography needs. Normal turn time is four days, depending on the amount of work in studio at any time. Please ask about current work schedule.
Payment Options:
I accept credit card payments. For projects under $200 full payment will be processed when placing your order. For all other projects your card will be charged 50% to start and the balance on delivery. I can also send out payments through PayPal, if you so choose. For larger clients, I do offer accounts with a net 30 and an additional discount for payments received within 21 days. As well as monthly retainer clients for large volume photography needs,
I also accept payment by check or money order. Please make checks payable to:
Todd Taulman Photography
If paying by check I require the full amount to be paid prior to photography and check will have to clear the ACH before work will begin.

I can photograph just about any size product. For products larger than 2' on any one side there is an oversized product fee of $5 per image. Please note I am not available to shoot lifestyle images such as kitchens, bedrooms, etc. I can shoot the individual products, but not the room settings.
Additional Options:
Group Photography:
My standard pricing above is for individual items. Let me know the details of the group and I will provide you with a quote based on the complexity of the group shot. Larger group photos are quoted at a higher price due to additional time needed with setup and editing.

Need your product photography quick, no problem. For a small rush fee I can provide your product photo within 2 days of receiving the product. Charged $10 per photo, minimum rush charge $50.
FAQ's
Do I need to be in the Chicago area to have you photograph my product?
No, you don't have to be in the Chicago area to have me photograph your product, just within the United States. I am not currently accepting projects from clients outside of the USA, sorry.
What if I would like an image re-shot?
I want you to be happy with your photos! If I’ve made a mistake I will gladly re-shoot or edit the photos to make them right at no charge.
